Wendy’s Dave Thomas Foundation is the only adoption charity focused specifically on adoption through foster care and is ranked number one in its category, but few consumers know what it is. Our “Food that Fuels” campaign aims to increase awareness of how Wendy’s contributes to the foundation helps children in foster care find happy, safe homes, and how customer contributions can help in that mission.

My Role
Because of my family’s personal experience with foster children, I really wanted to create a campaign focused on foster care and adoption. I researched possible companies or groups and found out that Wendy’s Dave Thomas Foundation is the highest rated non profit focused on adoption through foster care. Ben and I brainstormed possible executions, met up to play with food, and with our copywriter crafted the clay pieces used in our ads. I mocked up on photoshop what the ads could look like and the day of we used those references to craft the food into our clay worlds.
